· Biography

25-year-old Lea Maria Löffler, who discovered her love for the harp at the age of 5, was awarded 2nd prize at the prestigious 21st International Harp Competition in Israel 2021/2022. At the 2018 Deutscher Musikwettbewerb-Competition, she earned a scholarship, combined with admission to the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb concert promotion program, as well as the special prize of the Association of Harpists in Germany. In 2021, she accepted the Hessen Agentur sponsorship award at the Rheingau Music Festival, and in 2022 she was awarded the Kunstförderpreis of the city of Augsburg. In 2018 and 2020, she received a scholarship for a stay for further creative education at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris. She has performed both as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles at festivals such as the Heidelberger Frühling and the Beethovenfest Bonn, as well as in the context of a cultural exchange at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Riyadh/Saudi Arabia. She is currently an academist in the WDR Symphony Orchestra. She won second place at the 72nd ARD International Music Competition in Munich in 2023.
