Awards Prizes and Special Prizes 2022

In total, four first, four second and four third prizes were awarded at the 2022 competition. Oswald Beaujean and Meret Forster, the two artistic directors of the ARD Music Competition, said: "We are truly delighted that we have been able to hold all rounds of this competition live, welcoming so many young musicians to Munich in person. Once again the level of the candidates was extraordinarily high."
